Hark ye !
pillars of power, wealth and vanity,
At long last, the tumultuous sea of humanity,
Gathered courage to fathom the abyss of insanity,
To lay claim unto their long awaited liberty.
With arms linked and
hearts throbbing in unison,
Engaged in their march towards a new horizon,
Not dreading the gunfire and shrapnels,
Napalms, armored tanks and scud missiles,
Armed with, just their
inner strength,
Kurds, Afghans and Russians,
Tibetans, Africans and Asians,
Unmindful of their
lives, resolved their riddle,
By refusing to play a second fiddle,
Determined to cast off
their yokes of servitude,
Finally rose like swarms in their multitude,
No longer scared of
fierce waves of tyranny,
Their souls having conquered the fear of agony,
Inspired to live with
the dignity of human race,
Or else to die with a gleaming face,
Drenched with the bliss of Almighty's grace.
